ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Kelly Lewis. I’ve completed the Newborn Care Specialist Intensive Workshop, via the Newborn Care Training Academy. I'm excited to have completed this first step towards becoming a certified Newborn Care Specialist. The next step is gaining 1000 hours of Newborn Care Specialist experience. My completion of the Intensive Workshop has prepared me to provide developmentally appropriate care; and has thoroughly educated me on subjects pertaining to: feeding, sleeping, premature babies, multiples, breast and formula feeding, baby supplies, common newborn issues, as well as giving me knowledge on how to best support postpartum parents. I hope to use my education to help you and your newest family member(s) move smoothly through this adjustment period.

The essence of my work is to facilitate safe and healthy environments for infants to grow. I am offering my Newborn Care Specialist services to my community for free while I gain experience hours, in hopes of being able to provide support for families who may want it, while not having to worry about any financial impact.
